Dr. Keenan’s lab studies the molecular mechanisms underlying membrane protein biogenesis and quality control using biochemical, structural and cell biology approaches.

Breakthrough technologies, from AI-driven structure prediction like AlphaFold to cutting-edge cryo-EM and next-generation mass spectrometry, are rapidly changing how we study protein structure, interactions, and function. The Structural Biology Hub will bring together leading technologists and expert users to explore the latest advances and spark forward-looking discussions on the future of the field. We endeavor to connect researchers from across campus to encourage the sharing of ideas and technology and to facilitate collaborations.
