The GREAT BME Chili Cook-off RETURNS!

Please join your very hungry and excited BME administration for a community event of gastronomical proportions, scheduled for Thursday, October 19, 12:00-1:30pm, in Weill Hall Atrium.

The 2023 BME Chili Cook-off is a community event/fundraiser, with proceeds going to the Cornell Elves program. See the info below/attached flyer for all delicious details.

We hope you can participate as chef, a taster, or both!

Introduction:

What:             A fall chili celebration/competition.

When:            Thursday, October 19

                        12:00 – 1:30pm (or until chili is gone!)

Where:           Weill Hall Atrium

Who:              Anybody! Participate as a chef, consumer, or both!

Purpose:

To have fun…and some healthy competition.

Sample:

That’s right, we want you to sample the chilis.

$1.00 per tasting cup. Proceeds will go to the Cornell Elves program.

Method (competitors):

1.         To enter your (crockpot-sized) chili in the competition, email Kathy Henion (khh4)
by Monday, 16 October.

2.         Bring your chili entry (hot) to the Weill Hall atrium at 11:45am, day of event.

3.         Try as many or as few samples as you like/pay for, repeat as necessary to determine your favorite. Then vote!

Method (consumers):

Come, pay, eat, vote.

Results:

PRIZES for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best chilis.

Winner(s) announced by 4 p.m.

Discussion:

Cups and utensils provided.

Bring your discriminating palate and good cheer.

Conclusion:

It’s going to be fun!
